Warren Buffett continues to unload billions of dollars from Berkshire Hathaway’s Interest in Bank of America (BAC).
New sec archiving Show Buffett sold 117.4 million shares of BAC worth around $ 5.5 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, which reduced the interest in the financial giant to 8.9%.
In the meantime, Berkshire added a new investment in the alcoholic beverages producer Constellation Brands (STZ), which brews both Corona and Modelo Especial.
The company collected around $ 1.2 billion in constellation shares at the end of the year after buying 5.6 million shares.
In Q4, Berkshire also bought around 12 million shares from satellite radio provider Sirius XM (Siri), worth around $ 325 million, and bought 1.1 million more shares from Domino’s Pizza (DPZ), worth $ 470 million.
Despite the new investments, Berkshire remains in cash on a record of $ 300 billion.
