Quantitative crypto analyst PlanB says Bitcoin (BTC) is gearing up for months of new all-time highs.
In a new video update, crypto strategist PlanB tells Its 200,000 YouTube subscribers will have many months in 2025 where the major crypto assets will reach heights never seen before in terms of market capitalization.
“If we have an all-time high in prices historically, there’s a good chance we’ll see more all-time price records. We saw that in 2020, 2021, 2017 and 2013.
A new all-time high leads to a new all-time high [and] a slew of other all-time highs. So yeah, we had an all-time high in December [of] 108,000, but not the closing price. However, I expect we will see many more months in 2025 with record highs similar to those of the previous bull markets.”
According to PlanB, the average price of the flagship for the next four years is $500,000. However, he notes that it probably won’t be exactly $500,000, but will be somewhere between $250,000 and $1 million.
“The stock-to-flow model looks forward in time and provides a 2024-2028 target of an average price of approximately $500,000…
The rule of thumb: one standard deviation band is about twice 500,000, which is 1 million, and 500,000 divided by two, which is 250,000, so we have a wide range from 250,000 to 1 million, where I expect the average of the four-year price cycle will be.”
The stock-to-flow model compares the supply of an asset or good with its production flow.
Bitcoin is trading at $98,445 at the time of writing, up 1.6% on the day.
