Animoca Brands has partnered with Everest Ventures Group to implement an investment exchange initiative, with both parties contributing to the other. The two entities are both committed to improving the Web3 ecosystem and its widespread adoption.
In terms of investing in each other’s businesses, the two organizations will work together to implement exchange initiatives. In an effort to create a connection between users and Web3 exposure, Animoca Brands will be responsible for supporting numerous EVG consumer items set to hit the market this year.
These include OpenSocial Protocol, an infrastructure layer that can be upgraded for social applications; Zeek, a decentralized association network that benefits from social premiums in the chain. Adding to this are Last Odyssey, a kingdom simulation game, and Legend of Arcadia, a turn-based role-playing game that prioritizes community.
At the same time, EVG will support Animoca Brands’ efforts to advance digital property rights through investments in various Animoca Brands projects. These include Anichess, a chained chess game that contains a magic system; Darewise, a Web3 studio specializing in the Bitcoin metaverse; and Animoca Brands have also provided Mocaverse, a flagship growth network, with a compatible infrastructure layer within the Mocaverse Partner Network.
Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, has stated that EVG is one of the company’s original allies and dedicated architects. The company is excited about the opportunity to strengthen its partnership and provide support for EVG’s various initiatives, which it believes have significant potential for widespread adoption.
