$XRP Ledger sidechain Xahau is in the spotlight as it launches a Blockchain-based settlement for Euro transfers to Ethiopia.
Global payments infrastructure company TerraPay, in partnership with Cooperative Bank of Oromia, has announced the launch of Blockchain-based settlement for inward remittances to Ethiopia. The initiative, which supports euro-denominated remittances from Europe, was developed in partnership with the Inclusive Financial Technology Foundation (INFTF).
INFTF and TerraPay worked with the Ethiopian financial authorities to establish the regulatory and technical framework for the blockchain-based inward remittance scheme.

The $XRP Ledger Foundation, a nonprofit organization that contributes, grows, and advocates for the $XRP Ledger and his community have announced a new team. This includes Brett Mollin, who serves as executive director; Denis Angell, appointed Chief Technology Officer; Rene Huijsen, working as Director of Operations; and Vet (Hussein Zangana), who serves as director of Community.
The new team wants to work together $XRP Ledger stakeholders to drive progress in all areas of community and technology.
