Seminole, Florida, 20 July 2025 (Globe Newswire) – Clean Air Electric Filter announces the launch of the Direct Current (CDC) Air Purification System, a technology developed by disabled American veteran Gal Joe Nahum. The system is designed to split carbon dioxide (CO₂) into carbon and oxygen, generate ozone through negative ions and can offer additional welfare benefits, including support for the absorption of nutrients.

The CDC filtration system Works by passing direct current through the air, aimed at CO₂ molecules. While the air flows through the unit, the current splits the carbon from the oxygen atoms. Carbon is collected internally and purified oxygen is released, which contributes to cleaner inner and outdoor environments.
A unique feature of this system is the generation of negative ions (ions). These ions are naturally found in environments such as waterfalls, where the friction of water that touches air produces a load. “Negative ions bind to positively charged particles, such as dust and pollutants, which they pull to the ground and purify the air,” said Gal Joe. Nahum. “If they reach the upper atmosphere, they can turn into ozone. Given the ozone exhausting above Antarctica, restoring this layer is a priority for global health.”
In addition to air purification, Gal Joe Nahum suggests that the CDC technology can also have future use in health and well -being. “There is a theory that this technology can help the body absorbing essential nutrients such as vitamin D and calcium, which makes possible bones, nails and teeth,” he noticed. Although this aspect remains under exploration, the concept reflects the dedication of Nahum for broader applications for general benefit.
The system is also linked to a renewable energy source. Nahum develops a transformer that harvests atmospheric energy, such as lightning and thunder, and this turnover in direct current, allowing the Sustainable Off-Grid filtration system to work.
Gal Joe Nahum, who served during the Desert Storm conflict, has devoted more than ten years of his life to the development of this technology. However, his efforts are not always supported. “I came to NASA in good faith with this technology, hoping to work together,” he said. “But I was simply fired because I was not part of the system. They forgot that some of the greatest innovators, such as the Wright Brothers, had no formal references. Without them NASA would not even exist.”
His work is also described in his book, which investigates his scientific innovations and space -related concepts. Read more at http://www.newspacetechnologybook.com.
