Ripple has doubled on blockchain innovation in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region by committing more than $ 5 million in extra financing through its Global University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI). The company said that the investment reflects the dedication of Ripple to cultivating blockchain talent of the next generation and supporting academic research.
The move, which follows $ 25 million American donations to stimulate crypto innovation, will include six countries, with renewed partnerships in South Korea, Japan and Singapore, and new subsidies in Taiwan and Australia. The Crypto company said It continues to work closely with top universities in APAC to support student initiatives by offering the required tools, financing and strategic guidance.

Ripple revealed that her renewed six-year collaboration of $ 1.1 million with Korea University is a basis for the company to expand its relations in South Korea. The company also hopes to build on the partnership that was launched with Yonsei University last fall.

Ripple admitted that UBRL is spreading to Taiwan through a new partnership with the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (Nkust). The initiative will be led by Dr. Echo Huang, director of the International MBA program, in which the fast-growing field of Real-World Assets (RWA) tokenization is being investigated.
The Crypto company said that the project will investigate the technical and policy implications of RWA issue between networks. The project will analyze the cross-chain functionality of XRP Ledger in addition to blockchains Ethereum and Solana, as well as the role of providers on/off-disaster in making institutional acceptance possible.
Ripple revealed that the 60th partner of Ubri, Nkust, will tap the initiative for supporting an XRPL Student Builders Club together with his own XRPL validator to enable deep involvement in Blockchain technology in Taiwan. The company argued that the relocation aimed to build on the national momentum of Taiwan on assets -tokenization, including recent initiatives led by the Financial Supervisory Commission and six major financial institutions.
