Quai Network announced today that it fits in with Wormhole and took a big step in the direction of full interoperability of Multichain. The integration uses the messaging layer of Wormhole and its native token transfers (NTT) as standard so that $ quai and $ Qi can move native between quai and more than 40 blockchains, from Ethereum and Solana to Base, BSC and Avalanche, without the usually packed friction.
Quai describes itself as an ‘energy-based’ monetary system built on a scolded, EVM-compatible proof-of-work pile that prioritizing a high transit and decentralization. The architecture, powered by the consensus of the team of the TeamTropie-Minima (poem), claims that they deliver very high transaction speeds and at the same time keep costs low, making the network suitable for payments, Defi, Socialfi and NFTs. By linking to a worm hole, Quai open that high speed environment effectively for liquidity and users who already live on other chains.
Which brings Wormhole to the table
The native token transfers from Wormhole (NTT) is an open standard for making tokens native multichain. In contrast to bridges that Mint versions of assets are packaged, NTT stores native token, properties, ownership, metadata and offer, while they move them between connected chains. The result is less complexity, lower costs and less UX headache for users and developers who build cross-chain apps. The NTT van Wormhole is already used by projects that need scale and composability in many networks.
Quai says that the roll-out native token transfers will contain $ quai and $ Qi (no wrapped token juggling), plus support for multichain daps that can tap Quai’s transit while having access to the liquidity of cross-chain. For everyday users this should mean more easier (think of tips, trading use via apps such as tipper and blippay), and for Defi builders this means easier in the driveways up to $ Qi as a decentralized energy level. The team also marked upcoming developer documents, tutorials and subsidies to help builders to adopt Wormhole on quai.
The Wormhole network already connects dozens of block chains and reports mass transit and liquidity of the cross-chain, after he has facilitated dozens of billions in cross-chain volume since the launch. By tapping that network, Quai wants to connect his energy-dollareconomy to existing liquidity pools and user bases, a practical step for each project that wants real-world payments and Defi activities quickly.
Quai says it will announce the official launch date and publish step -by -step guides when the integration goes live. Builders can get started with the Wormhole SDK on Quai via the project documents, and users must view the X account of Quai for live demos, community events and launch details.
If you hold or build with $ quai or $ Qi, expect cross-chain movement that stores native token properties and opens access to liquidity and users on large chains, without packed tokens and with lower friction than many older bridge solutions. For developers, integration promises to combine the claimed transit of Quai with the Multichain Sanitair from Wormhole.
