Pieple ensured that Nakamigos NFTs dropped this weekend in price and later an AI-based stunt in the Cryptopunks Meetup of the artist, the founders of Larve Labs depicted who launched an earlier iteration of the collection.
With “Cryptopunks MeetUp 2.0”, a video showed an AI display of Matt Hall and John Watkinson would launch the “V-Zero Cryptopunks”.
The founders apparently discussed how the original, earlier iteration of cryptopunks was made Two years before the actual cryptopunks NFT collection.

Both Hall and Peeple also signed flyers, but these used photos of the Nakamigos collection, a separate NFT project based on cryptopunks. These flyers also rained from the air after the AI video was completed.
This led some people to believe that the Nakamigos were in fact the “launched” V-0 cryptopunks, and the trade volume and the price of the collection in Ether (ETH) properly Shots with 1,782% and 127% respectively.
However, when the news spread that it was a joke, the price dropped by 57% and returned to a roughly pre-pump 0.189 ETH.

Someone has already bought a similar domain and uses it to kill people to another NFT collection. Pieeple also shared a satirical function that implied that a lawsuit had been brought to him that he had bought hundreds of Nakamigos NFTs in advance.
