Pharos Network, a financial Layer 1 blockchain, has announced the formation of the RealFi Alliance, a strategic initiative aimed at bringing greater standardization and coordination to institutional real-world asset (RWA) activity across the chain, according to an announcement shared with Finbold on February 23.
The alliance brings together asset issuers, financial infrastructure providers and onchain builders to help the RWA market move beyond isolated pilot programs to a more scalable and operational framework. The first cohort includes Chainlink, Asseto Finance, Ember, Faroo, LayerZero, R25, Re7 Labs, TopNod and Centrifuge.
Coordination of infrastructure, liquidity and compliance
Pharos said the RealFi Alliance is structured to address challenges such as fragmented liquidity, inconsistent infrastructure standards and regulatory silos. Rather than viewing RWAs as static tokenized assets, the initiative positions RealFi as an infrastructure layer where assets remain active and composable for institutional use cases.
The alliance is built around four core pillars. These include enabling real-world assets to be brought onto the chain in secure and composable formats, aligning infrastructure and compliance standards using Pharos’ deep parallel execution and built-in compliance modules, and designing liquidity and utility paths such as staking, yield strategies and application integration.
As part of this framework, Ember and Re7 Labs are working together to integrate institutional-level risk management and vault management directly into the asset lifecycle. The alliance also aims to establish clearer transparency and benchmark standards for risk and return sources to support the participation of institutional capital.
“The core challenge facing oncha finance today is not a lack of assets, but the absence of a unified environment in which these assets can function at scale,” said Wish Wu, co-founder and CEO of Pharos Network. “The RealFi Alliance is our commitment to building that environment, aligning leaders like Chainlink, the industry-standard oracle platform, with specialized asset managers to ensure real value moves up the chain with institutional reliability.”
Pharos added that the initiative aims to ensure upcoming mainnet launches with pre-existing integrated liquidity and compliance standards. The RealFi Alliance is expected to expand over time, with future members selected based on asset quality, technical readiness, and ecosystem alignment.
