Mind Network, a privacy-focused blockchain infrastructure provider, has announced the launch of the x402z Testnet, a confidential agent-to-agent payment solution designed for the AI economy. The product addresses a key limitation of public blockchains, where full transaction transparency conflicts with the operational needs of autonomous AI agents.
The solution was developed in collaboration with ZAMA, a cryptography company specialized in Fully Homomorphic Encryption. x402z combines FHE with the ERC-7984 Confidential Token standard to enable on-chain payments without disclosing transaction amounts, balances, or strategic intent. Validation remains reliable, while sensitive economic data remains encrypted.
Under the x402z model, validators can confirm the correctness of transactions without accessing the underlying values. Observers can verify that a payment has been made, but cannot infer its purpose or size. This approach maintains an authoritative ledger without sending commercially sensitive signals.
