The Serbian performance artist Marina Abramović cooperates with Digital Marketplace Taex to release three new NFT drops that symbolize different elements of her work.
According to the Artnet report, Abramović has decided to return to the blockchain with a new NFT project entitled Marina Abramović Element of Mae. The project marks its return to the Web3 atmosphere since its first company in 2021 when she offered her artwork from 2001 The Hero as collective objects.
For its latest project, Abramović works together with the Digital Marketplace Taex to pass on three theme -NFTs with interactive functions that show various aspects of the artist’s work over the years. Inspired by a fictional story made by Abramović, the project takes place in May to September 2025.
The first NFT -drop revolves around the art theme and explores symbols and archetypes from the artistic practice of Abramović. The second drop is called Life, which shows how they use different locations, gestures and outfits in her artwork. Finally, the last NFT drip will be called the Marina Abramović method, in which she presents her journey of self-discovery by setting up the Marina Abramović Institute in 2023.

Each NFT drop consists of different sizes and rarity levels. Simply for stagnant images, rare for lusage canimations and epic for looping animations that are adapted to the real moon cycles.
In addition to the three NFT drops, traders can also collect what transformational crystals is mentioned by playing specifically designed games. The second NFT drop comes with a game called Maze, while the counting crystals game is launched next to the third drop. Collectors can earn transformational crystals from these two games.
By keeping transformational crystals, participants can have a limited-edition 5D Mae performance and 5D Mae Avatar NFTs Mint.
After the last drop, Mae will commemorate the end of her collection in November with an event called The Great Mint, where NFT -collectors will be able to the last NFT of the project, the Mae -Token in Mint.
The Mae -Token will be released in the form of video artworks and animations that show the digital avatar of Abramović that performs new iterations of its famous documents.
In order to mint the Mae -Token, however, traders must first have all the epic NFTs of the previous drops and a transforming crystal or three rare NFTs and a transforming crystal.
