Chainlink, a platform that offers Real-World data to Blockchains, and the Aptos Foundation, which supports the development and growth of the aptos blockchain, announced that the Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) is now Live on the Moorstje APTOS. This is the first time that CCIP has been integrated with a movement-based blockchain, which extends interoperability over more than 60 EVM and non-EVM networks.
Aave’s Gho Stablecoin, together with Breock’s Unibtc and BRBTC, can now be used on APTOS. These assets can be transferred via the CCIP-driven interport application. The integration enables Defi protocols and token expenditures to extend their services to the APTOS ECO system and offers wider access for users and developers.
CCIP offers the safe infrastructure required for applications of institutional quality, building on the decentralized systems of Chainlink that protect dozens of trillions in value. APTOS now connects to Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BNB chain, on Manet and Sonic, planned with further extensions.
The implementation follows earlier integrations of chain link data with APTOS and the involvement of the Aptos Foundation at the Chainlink Scale program. Together these initiatives are aimed at increasing the liquidity of the cross-chain and the approval of the APTOS blockchain.
