PISCATAWAY, NJ, Feb. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ISTO, Inc., an international federation of industrial alliances and technical consortia committed to advancing standardized technologies to serve today’s technical ecosystems, announces the election of Sanjiv Desai to the ISTO Board of Directors, from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027.
Sanjiv Desai has over 40 years of proven industry experience leading engineering and standards organizations. He served on the MIPI Alliance Board of Directors for more than 18 years, serving as Chairman, Vice Chairman and Treasurer, providing strategic direction and helping to expand membership to more than 400 companies. At Intel, Sanjiv held a broad range of architecture and engineering management roles, focusing on CPU and chipset design, platform development, and led key standards development initiatives across PC, mobile and automotive platforms.
Sanjiv has worked closely with ISTO leadership in the past and is deeply committed to advancing ISTO’s mission. While ISTO’s Board of Directors manages the organization’s strategic direction, financial operations and business roadmap, Sanjiv’s extensive experience in leadership and standards will prove impactful and meaningful for ISTO.
