Data from the chain shows that Solana will surpass the competition in network fees by 2025.
According to the latest data shared by Nansen, Solana’s on-chain fee revenue is expected to exceed $600 million by 2025, putting Solana first in the industry.
According to Nansen data, the fifteen largest blockchains in terms of on-chain fee revenue in 2025 are ranked as follows:
- Solana: $603.17 million
- TRON: $581.10 million
- Ethereum: $514.72 million
- BNB chain: $259.00 million
- Bitcoin: $172.28 million
- Base: $78.08 million
- Arbitrum: $18.90 million
- Bit layer: $12.60 million
- TON: $9.43 million
- Avalanche: $8.53 million
- HyperEVM: $8.07 million
- Polygon: $5.99 million
- Linea: $3.89 million
- Optimism: $3.75 million
- Almost: $3.63 million
Solana showed strong performance not only in fee revenue, but also in usage metrics. The network’s number of active addresses surpassed 1.05 billion, while the total number of on-chain transactions reached approximately 23.01 billion. These numbers surpass all other major networks, including Ethereum, Bitcoin and TRON.
