Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao is reportedly appointed to advise Pakistan on web3 and blockchain technology.
Local media in Pakistan report that CZ has joined the Pakistan Crypto Council as a strategic adviser for the country of 247 million.
Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb says, Finance Minister of Pakistan, of the involvement of CZ,
“This is a milestone moment for Pakistan.
We send a clear message to the world: Pakistan is open to innovation.
With CZ on board we accelerate our vision to turn Pakistan into a regional powerhouse for web3, digital finances and blockchain-driven growth. “
Bilal bin Saqib, CEO of the Pakistan Crypto Council said,
“Pakistan opens his doors for the future of finance.
And anyone better to guide us on this trip than CZ – a pioneer who built the world’s greatest crypto exchange and changed the way in which billions think about financial freedom. “
According to CZ, Pakistan offers an “unlimited” potential for crypto.
Last week the founder of Binance also concluded a deal to promote Crypto technologies in the Central -Asian Nation Kyrgyzstan.
Said CZ at the time,
“I officially and unofficially advise a few governments on their crypto -controlling frameworks and blockchain solutions for GOV -Efficiency, in which blockchain is extended to more than actions. I find this work extremely useful.”
