Real-World Asset Tokenization Platform Centrifuge has launched its latest upgrade, Centrifuge V3, in collaboration with Multichain Messaging Protocol Wormhole.
The new system is designed to make it easier for fund managers and investors to manage tokenized assets over several block chains using a single interface.
The rollout starts with a fund of $ 230 million from Anemoy, a crypto-Native asset manager driven by Centrifuge. The fund invests in American Treasury Securities managed by Janus Henderson and marks one of the larger Real-World assets tokenisations so far.
Centrifuge V3 introduces ‘full -chain abstraction’, with which users can invest, manage and publish tokenized assets without directly communicating with blockchain infrastructure., According to a press release shared with Coindesk.
Wormhole, a popular cross-chain bridge, feeds interoperability. The role in the partnership is to ensure that tokenized assets on centrifuge are fully compiled – usable in decentralized finances and institutional platforms.
Centrifuge has been expanded over time. Last year it collected $ 15 million in an “written” fundraising round when it expanded to the Layer-2 network base of Coinbase.
