How to bid: Enter the amount of Bitcoin you would like to bid, an email address where we can reach you, and the name of the bidder you would like to appear with your bid. After submitting and confirming your bid, you will be asked to make a refundable deposit of approximately 1% of your bid, payable via Lightning or onchain Bitcoin.
Free bids: Bidders who have placed at least one bid on Scarce City and have a strong Twitter reputation may be eligible for free unlimited bidding. Instead of depositing sats with their bid, they are held accountable through their reputation by linking the bidder’s name to their Twitter account.

Animal story of Bitcoin:
The Bull and Bear is a commonly depicted symbol in crypto-inspired art. VESA took on the challenge of creating something new that spoke to the indestructible, non-confiscatable nature of Bitcoin.
Meet Bitram, a symbol of Bitcoin’s ruthlessness amid turbulent societal times.
The original piece comes with a 1/3 physical, hand-finished canvas artwork that launches in an AR version via the Artivive app. The Bitram NFT is a highly curated animation of the work.
VESA was among the first artists to tackle crypto in 2017 and has since been working on it full-time with notable collectors in both the crypto and more traditional art worlds.
BitRam is another take on Bitcoin’s animal history, as the ramming of the old gates continues as an unstoppable force. The artwork is a 1/3 physical canvas print with acrylic paint on it, which uses the Artivive app to launch its animated pair.
A previous Scarce City auction ended with a bid of $67,000, equivalent to a GMG winning bid for a similar 1/3 piece:
