Quirky Soul College is set to add a new element to its NFT universe, with the launch of the Hollow world story, an interactive storytelling experience that allows NFT holders to help shape the path of the story. The new feature will be available to users on September 25.
The hollow world story
The Hollow world story introduces the concept of storytelling NFTs, which combine narrative creation and decentralized decision-making. Much like gamebooks, in which readers navigate the story through crucial choices, or similar to Netflix’sBlack Mirror: Bandersnatch”, where viewers control the journey of the plot, Quirky Soul College aims to immerse the community in the heart of the story.
Idiosyncratic Soul College NFT holders will dictate the trajectory of the story. Each NFT allows for a separate vote on episodic decisions, with a DAO-like model allowing the community to shape the ebb and flow of the storyline. After a set voting timeframe, the dominant choice becomes canon, paving the way for subsequent episodes.
Additionally, each voice choice reflects a Quirky Soul’s personality trait, adding depth and history to the NFT. This choice becomes permanently attached to the character, further affecting its alignment – drawing parallels to the alignment mechanics in classic games like ‘Dungeons and Dragons.”
A new special section on the Quirky Soul College DApp will be the Hollow world story story. Each season consists of episodes with a title, core content and possible ending routes.
