Basketball height points from Dapper Labs’ NBA Top Shot Collectibles Platform is now available through physical machines in Japan, thanks to a collaboration with Web3 Marketing Company 24Karat.
As part of the initiative, basketball fans and hopeful collectors can be working on AIICO SMART sales machines located in train stations and commercial centers from Hokkaido to Okinawa, where he adds the best NFT moments on the Flow Blockchain to their collection with their mobile phones.
“It is exciting to see Fandom and real property crossing back and forth between digital and physical realities,” said Flow Chief Architect Dieter Shirley told Decrypt. “What a better place to start this than Tokyo, where vending machines are an important part of the culture. This is a glimpse of how collecting objects fit in our daily lives; on-chain and on-street.”

Collectors who hope to acquire top -hand shot moments of the machines do not need knowledge of crypto or blockchain to get started. Instead, after finding a package that they want to buy on the machine, users are instructed to scan a QR code with their mobile phone, which automatically makes a wallet supported by the stream to accommodate the collective objects.
After that, users can complete the purchase with credit card or mobile payment options on their supported device, such as Apple Pay or Google Pay. Initially, 24Karat co-founder Seth Luan said that users can buy a mysterious box that contains a moment of the “Climb: Chance Hit Mini” package.
“We designed it as a fun and simple access point,” said Luan. “Users will not choose specific moments, but receive a random when purchasing instead.”
Packs are sold for 1,000 yen, or around $ 6.70. In the future, collectors may use crypto -tokens to buy packages from the smart machines, but for now the Focus is keeping it easy for users with popular Fiat payment options.

Regarding other future initiatives, he said that the “possibilities are endless.”
“In addition to investigating deeper collaborations with the Flow team for experiences, such as moments that are only available on the machines,” he added, “can introduce future updates of extra game-oriented experiences such as stamp pas gates, instant buying options and peer-to-peer trade.”
After the first rollout, 24Karat is planning to expand the initiative with Limited-Edition collective objects, interactive campaigns and special giveaway actions later this fall.
