On June 26, World (formerly WorldCoin) launched a new infrastructure called Priority Blockspace for Humans (PBH) on his main journey of the world chain. This is an update aimed at improving blockchain access for verified human users.
World Chain is a Layer-2 blockchain built on the Op-Stapel and secured by Ethereum. It is designed to scale within the Superchain Ecosystem and is integrated with the Worldcoin protocol. The network is intended to serve a global user base through apps that are accessible through compatible portfolios such as World App.
PBH is a new infrastructure component that prioritizes transactions of ORB-Grantified user people who have proven their identity with the help of World ID. In times of network congregation, PBH reserves part of each block specifically for these users. This ensures that their transactions continue without delays, regardless of gas costs or economic competition.
The system guarantees access to important services such as proof-of-human verification, mini apps and subsidy claims, without extra costs. It is automatically activated during the big question.
PBH was tested for a stimulated test network with the participation of researchers and teams at Flashbots and Alchemy. It is open-source and integrated in the World Chain Block Builder and Rollup Boost, a tool for OP-Stack chains with which adapted transaction order is possible. Both PBH and Rollup Boost were independently controlled by Nethermind.
