Get ready for some new kicks as Reebok and VeeFriends have joined forces for a special joint release! This collaboration is inspired by one of VeeFriends’ 283 captivating characters: the VeeFriends Aspiring Alpaca Classic Nylon.
VeeFriends x Reebok
VeeFriends is a visionary project by Gary Vaynerchuk, aka Gary Vee. Gary Vee invented, designed and drew 283 unique characters. The goal of VeeFriends is to promote kindness and positivity, with a mission to upscale these characters and their virtues to make the world a better place. Therefore, each character embodies concepts such as love, kindness, gratitude, resilience, adaptability, ambition and more.
The VeeFriends Aspirant Alpaca is central to this collaboration. Aspiring Alpaca encourages people to pursue their dreams and aspirations. Therefore, the character aligns perfectly with Reebok’s mission to create opportunities, products and inspiration for individuals to reach their full potential.

The Aspiring Alpaca Classic Nylon
The Classic Nylon is Reebok’s iconic Heritage silhouette that debuted in 1991. This is the canvas for this creative collaboration. The Reebok x VeeFriends Aspiring Alpaca Classic Nylon (100070037) features a nylon upper with suede overlays, featuring the VeeFriends logo in the window box and the original Series 1 drawing of Aspiring Alpaca on the tongue.
In addition, the VeeFriends Aspiring Alpaca Classic Nylon sneakers will be available in unisex sizes. Plus, they sell for $90. Fans can buy them from August 24, 2023 on Reebok’s official website and the VeeFriends webshop.
To celebrate the launch, the creative campaign features three individuals from the VeeFriends collector community who embody the Aspiring Alpaca ethos:
- Shahreen “Katz” Ahmed: A prominent figure in the VeeFriends community, Katz is the founder of VeeRoses. VeeRoses spreads positivity through “roses” and affirmations. They also host Wellness Wired Twitter spaces focused on health and wellness within the Web3 community. In addition, they curate in-person community events for VeeFriends and World of Women, among others.
- Christian Robles: A professional boxer working towards a title with the support of the VeeFriends community. As well as being a fierce competitor in the ring, he is a positive force outside of it, embodying the VeeFriends ethos of kindness, empathy and positivity.
- Esma Shmeit: An up-and-coming female rapper from Canada, Esma entered the Gala Music contest at VeeCon 2023. The experience inspired her to pursue her dream of becoming a rap star, and she encourages others to pursue their ambitions to chase.
