Gewan Holding, part of the NG9 holding of Abu Dhabi, works together with decentralized infrastructure pioneer IOPN to accelerate the development of sovereign AI, blockchain and digital identity solutions in the United Arab Emirates.
Introduction of Projectatlas
The conglomerate of the United Arab Emirates (VAE) is collaborated with IOPN, a pioneer in decentralized infrastructure, in a collaboration aimed at accelerating the development of sovereign artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and digital identity solutions. The core of this alliance is the use of a sovereign AI stack driven by Nvidia GPUs and anchored by the own Inkn chain of IOPN.
According to a press release, this decentralized infrastructure integrates high -quality AI computing with a sovereign digital identity layer, which makes it possible to conform and scalable operations on governance, finance, healthcare and real estate. The OPN chain also supports Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization, biometric authentication and modern payment systems of liquidity and regulated access to global capital markets.
Ala Ali, Group CEO of NG9 Holding, who owns Gewan Holding, emphasized the strategic importance of the partnership:

Project Atlas (Advance Tokenized Liquid-Cooled Ai Stack), developed by IOPN in collaboration with Betabytes-a official Nvidia Cloud Partner-Zal serves as a sovereign-grade AI data center. It is one of the various initiatives under the wider IOPN ecosystem, including digital financial infrastructure, RWA -Tokenization and the AI Academy & AI factory.
Amer Al Osh, Chief Development Officer at Gewan Holding, meanwhile said that the collaboration provides an infrastructure model that “strengthens digital sovereignty and unlock new economic opportunities.” The partnership also ensures that the VAE continues to set the benchmark for innovation in the era of AI and Web3, OSH added.
IOPN CEO Mojtaba Asadian described the OPN chain as the cornerstone of a united ecosystem for sovereign identity, financial infrastructure and innovation driven by AI. “With the support and initiatives of NG9 Holding such as Project Atlas, we are building digital infrastructure of sovereign quality that enables countries to use AI and Web3 on their own conditions,” he said.
In the meantime, the press release also revealed that Gewan Holding had launched the Gewan Ai Hub to promote AI acceptance in various industries. This initiative is a supplement to the wider digital transformation strategy of the VAE and strengthens the central role of the IOPN ecosystem.
Together, Gewan Holding and IOPN want to position De Vae as a gateway for sovereign AI and blockchain solutions. Additional initiatives under the Atlas project are expected to be announced in the coming months, according to the release.
