Former President Donald Trump is starting to look like a crypto whale of sorts, with both ether holdings and revenue from his branded NFTs growing by the minute.
The entrepreneur turned politician says he owns up to $5 million worth of ether in a wallet certified financial disclosures for 2023 put online by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington yesterday. A listing describing the potential size of the company specifically lists an income of $2.8 million.

The disclosure also reveals that Trump earned $4.9 million from an NFT licensing deal with NFT INT LLC, the company behind two separate NFT drops that generated millions of dollars in sales and royalties.

New figures show a strong increase in activity
News reports from last week showed for the first time that Trump had $500,000 worth of ether, citing an April revelation. The latest revelations Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics on Washington’s website is dated this month.
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, or CREW, did not immediately respond to a request for comment when asked about the most recent August disclosure.
Trump’s NFTs sold for $99, with the first drop late last year and the second in April. The first series generated more than $26 million in trading volume, according to OpenSea data.
Royalties reflect Trump’s assets
According to The Block Research analyst Brad Kay, Trump’s two sets of NFTs have brought in $2.6 million in royalties from secondary sales. The four digital wallets receiving this revenue currently hold about $3 million in ether, he said.
While Trump’s holdings in the $2.8 million filing are very close to the amount in the four wallets associated with the NFT collections, NFT INT LLC states on its website for the digital trading cards that it is a separate entity.
“NFT INT LLC is not owned, operated or controlled by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organization,” the site said. “NFT INT LLC uses the name, likeness and image of Donald J. Trump under paid license from CIC Digital LLC.”
Trump is listed as the manager, president, secretary and treasurer of CIC Digital LLC, according to CREW’s posted disclosures.
