The domain of blockchain technology is in constant evolution, with various entities competing for dominance in user engagement, adoption, and usability. Recent statistics from Phoenix, a well-known crypto analytics platform, point towards the most active blockchains based on monthly and daily active addresses. The respective figures provide a comprehensive overview of the current position of the sector. This shows which chains experience the most consistent consumer engagement.

Solana leads the list of top blockchains in terms of 30-day active addresses

Phoenix shared the list of the top blockchain companies according to the exclusive monthly and daily addresses in terms of activity. In accordance with this data, Solana appears to be the leader by a significant margin. The platform reportedly has a whopping 99.5 million new active addresses over thirty days. Solana’s growing popularity is a result of the platform’s powerful network. It has received a lot of attention for its lower transfer fees and fast confirmation times.

Near Protocol secures the 2i.e position in the list of 30.6 million active addresses. It has made remarkable progress with its fragmented proof-of-stake architecture. It enables low costs and scalability, making it a resilient competitor within the overall blockchain sector. The 3rd position is occupied by Base, a relatively new L2 solution developed by Coinbase on Ethereum. Regardless of Base’s early days, it has quickly amassed 22.3 million active addresses. This reflects its increasing appeal, especially within the dApp ecosystem.

Another prominent name in this list is Tron, which is popular for its use cases in the gaming and entertainment sector. It reportedly has up to 14 million active addresses. The respective consistent engagement points to the widespread adoption of dApps and token transfers. BNB Chain now registers 10.3 million active addresses. This underlines its position as a major player in the world of decentralized finance and decentralized exchanges.

The list of daily active addresses also sees Solana Blockchain at the forefront

The other notable names take into account Ton with 9.9 million addresses, Ethereum with 5.5 million, Polygon with 5.2 million, Arbitrum with 3.1 million and Optimism with 1.2 million. The growth of L2 solutions and their competition have paved the way for direct mainnet use. In terms of daily activity, Solana dominates with 3.4 million addresses ahead of Near, which has 2.9 million daily addresses. Base reports 2.2 million daily users, with BNB Chain and Tron seeing 1.2 million and 960.7 thousand active addresses. Then Optimism only shows 69.6K active addresses.
