Vietnam does not show any signs of delaying his march into the digital transformation of his local economy, with state -owned companies (SOOs) to lead from the front.

According to a report, Vietnam -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh insisted on Soes in the country to lead the digital transformation of the nation, putting a blueprint for other companies. Chinh repeated plans during a meeting with See representatives who like to experiment with emerging technologies in Hanoi.

At the last count, Vietnam has nearly 700 Soes with a combined assets of US $ 216 billion. Apart from his own cash reserves, the Prime Minister of Vietnam says that the government is willing to provide additional financing for digital transformation initiatives by the SOOs.

State companies have indicated an interest in blockchain for increased transparency and smart contract automation. A common denominator across the board is the joint urge of SOOs for artificial intelligence (AI).

A cross -section of SOOs is yearning for big data and internet of things (IoT) technology as part of their digital transformation efforts.

Various factors encourage Vietnam’s national digital transformation ambitions, where PAM points to the consequences of the COVID-19 Pandemie, natural disasters and macro-economic uncertainties.

While global super powers are starting a trade war, the PM from Vietnam repeats the need for self -supply with the help of emerging technologies. Chinh underlines the importance of diversification of his economy and warns against dependence on an internal market.

Critics say that Vietnam’s SOOs are not in the best place to lead the costs for national digital transformation. They scharten their argument about the slow pace of assuming subsequent generation technologies, with reference to traditional bureaucracy and bureaucracies.

VICE minister of finance nguyễn ức Tâm noted that Soes should improve operational efficiency to be able to realize the expectations of the government and at the same time increase the capitals for digital technologies.

The urge of Vietnam for digital transformation is downright impressive, given the urge of the Southeast Asian country for innovation. The largest city, Ho Chi Minh, is at the forefront with a major investment in blockchain and AI.

Despite the rapid development of development within its limits, Vietnam has his sights in regional dominance. To achieve his ambitions, the country investigates partnerships with Singapore, Belgium and China to promote its digital transformation affair.

Morocco ink two deals to digitize health care

Elsewhere, Morocco has signed two high -profile deals to digitize its health care sector, which views the integration of emerging technologies in existing systems.

The country’s authorities would like to digitally transform his healthcare sector and tap players in the industry to support the Pivot. The partnership agreements were signed on Gitex Africa 2025, the leading technical and startup show of the continent.

The first memorandum of agreement (MOU) includes a very partnership between the Ministry of Health of Morocco and the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion (CDG) for the next generation of tech integration. Although details are scarce, CDG DG Khalid Safir hinted in integrating AI and blockchain functionalities.

“We make our technical expertise available for the ministry to develop and implement digital systems, to improve services and to support the general management of the health information of Morocco,” Safir said.

A community lecture by the MOU reveals plans of the CDG to roll out a digital innovation lab for the Ministry of Health of Morocco. In addition, the CDG will lead to the design of digital solutions and relaxing staff with digital skills to provide the transition with electricity.

The Ministry of Health greeted the partnership as a step in the right direction and noted that the relocation will improve the state of affairs in the health sector.

“It is a partnership with which we can do what we cannot do alone,” the ministry said. “We work together with the methods and codes of the digital sector to build a smarter, more efficient health care system.”

Health authorities have closed another deal at Gitex Africa 2025 with the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sciences and Health. The new partnership will provide the rollout of a new E-Healthcare summit of Stroom from Gitex Future Health Morocco Africa from the E-Healthcare, to present innovative jumps with emerging technology on the continent.

The partnerships are part of a broader push of Morocco to integrate the next generation of technologies into all facets of its local economy. Apart from health, the financial, production and logistics sectors register an impressive digital transformation.

Healthcare and emerging technology are peas in a pod

While the financial sector receives the larger part of the cake from emerging technology integrations, vertical healthcare also collects impressive use cases. Various technological giants are moving ahead to roll out AI-driven health care solutions in the coming months.

The Global Healthcare Smart Contracts Market is tipped to achieve a market capitalization of $ 10 billion, which accentuates meteoric growth rates. On the other hand, Blockchain will make impressive figures in health care in Southeast Asia, whereby global market capitalization is expected to surpass $ 1 trillion by 2034.
