Solayer launched SVM Bridge, an interoperability protocol to connect Solana and the Solana Virtual Machine.
Summary
- Solayer unveils SVM Bridge to stimulate interoperability in the Solana Ecosystem
- SVM Bridge connects Solana with InfinisVM and other SVM chains.
- Network has a low latency, security and efficient bridging
The interoperability of Solana (SOL) ecosystem can get a boost soon. On Friday, August 15, Solayer, the company behind InfinisVM, announced the launch of SVM Bridge. The bridge will serve as an interoperability solution for networks using the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM).
The bridge connects the Solana network with InfinisVM and other SVM chains. Solayer claims that it will contain ultra-loage latency and minimal transaction costs to keep asset transfers efficient.
“SVM Bridge keeps interoperability indigenous in SVM-Determinist, low-latency and easy for builders. You draw once, hold your tools and move assets on chain speed without translation layers,” Chaz, founding engineer, Solayer, Solayer, Solayer, Solayer

Because of its native support for SVM chains, the SVM bridge eliminates translation layers. This improves performance compared to comparable interoperability solutions. Solayer claims that the network can reach finality in one second, with reimbursements at 0.0006 Sol.
Solayer collaborated with Soon, who is already building on several Layer-1 models with his disconnected SVM model. This enables it to implement the Solana virtual machine on other chains.
“SVM Bridge lets each SVM chain work as one environmental improvement without seams and direct liquidity between networks,” Joanna Zeng, co-founder of Soon

Solayer emphasized that Multichain bridges provide important security challenges. Since 2021, users and protocols have lost $ 2.7 billion in brown falls, making them one of the most vulnerable technologies in the blockchain space.
This is largely due to the fact that they introduce centralization in a different decentralized environment. While bridge technology is improving, centralization remains an important care.
