Snowball Money has entered into a strategic alliance with REI Network (GXChainGlobal) to incorporate identity infrastructure into the zero-fee blockchain ecosystem at REI. The partnership aims to bring human-readable identities, on-chain reputation that is portable, and streamlined wallet interactions to REI’s growing offering of decentralized finance and gaming applications.
Partnership announcement 🤝
We’re working with @GXChainGlobal (REI Network) to bring identity infrastructure to the zero-fee blockchain.

This announcement signals a common mission between the two projects to eliminate friction in blockchain interactions at scale and performance. REI Network’s lightweight EVM compatibility and free-form structure will now integrate Snowball Money’s identity and reputation layer to improve user experience across its ecosystem.
Human-readable identities for zero-fee transactions
One of the key elements of the partnership is the concept of human-readable @names of REI users. Participants can claim recognizable identifiers instead of using complex wallet addresses to facilitate transactions between decentralized applications.
These @names will enable the use of gasless and seamless interaction between DeFi protocols, games and NFT marketplaces via REI. By eliminating the need to work with long alphanumeric addresses, the integration will streamline blockchain engagement by helping new and experienced users participate more easily.
As zero-fee blockchains compete to win over users and liquidity, making identity management easier could be one of the key differentiators. The introduction of snowball infrastructures allows REI to achieve better usability without compromising its performance-oriented architecture.
Identity-based DeFi and gaming applications
The partnership will also facilitate identity-based services across REI’s DeFi and GameFi ecosystems. Reputation-based lending, gaming performance and social interactions can be based on verifiable @names. This trust and traceability can minimize the risks of anonymous action and facilitate the innovation of decentralized finance.
REI Network is designed keeping in mind the changes in blockchain trends, with an emphasis on lightweight EVM compatibility, improved throughput, and a zero-fee transaction environment. This addition of identity primitives means that the network is now no longer just a matter of pure transaction efficiency, but is now more user-centric in design.
REI developers gain access to identity tools that remove complex address management and enable applications to communicate with known digital identities. Such a change will promote broader use of REI’s DeFi protocols and gaming infrastructure.
Cross-chain reputation across 70+ snowball money networks
The on-chain reputation system created by Snowball Money is not limited to REI’s ecosystem. The platform is capable of monitoring user behavior and activity within REI and, based on the announcement, may be ported to more than 70 other chains in which it is supported. This cross-chain compatibility provides a single layer of reputation, guiding users across networks.
Multi-chain ecosystems are becoming more common in the Web3 and portable reputation systems are emerging. Platforms can create trust among users by allowing them to move identity and behavioral credentials across chains without restricting them to a single blockchain platform.
In the case of Snowball Money, the joint venture is expanding its presence in another EVM-friendly ecosystem and doubling down on its mandate to provide a universal identity, peer-to-peer payment and reputation layer to both people and digital agents.
