Saga, an L1 blockchain designed for Web3 games, has announced a partnership with Virtuals Protocol, Eliza Labs, the Wayfinder Foundation and ai16z in a collaboration aimed at powering AI agents. As part of the collaboration, Saga unveiled Metropolis.lol, a reality arbitration protocol that combines blockchain and AI technologies.
Metropolis.lol functions as an open-source agent runtime and provides developers with a full set of tools to build AI-focused applications. The initiative defines Metropolis as a decentralized society where AI agents flourish.
As part of the collaboration, Virtuals Protocol will facilitate ecosystem interactions through the Metropolis Butler Agent, which enables seamless communication between Virtual Protocols agents and Metropolis. Eliza Labs provides scalable AI functionality through the ElizaOS framework, enabling advanced intelligent operations. The Wayfinder Foundation is developing multi-chain frameworks that allow AI agents to move seamlessly across blockchain ecosystems.
