Ripple VP invites KyotoU students to an intensive blockchain course
Emi Yoshikawa, the strategic initiatives VP at Ripple Inc., will teach an intensive course on blockchain and cryptocurrencies at Kyoto University Graduate School. The course starts next week, Yoshikawa said in a statement on X.

As explained by the teacher, the program she prepared aims to combine the benefits of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. After the four-hour course, students will be able to understand the concept of blockchain ‘intuitively’.
Ripple’s CEO hopes her students will experience the same excitement she did when she started studying blockchain years ago.
Founded in 1897, Kyoto University or KyotoU is one of the most prestigious universities in Japan. It is the second oldest university in Japan and consistently ranks high in the top 10 universities in Asia.
As previously reported by U.Today, Emi Yoshikawa welcomed Japanese Mayor of Fukuoka Soichiro Takashima to Ripple headquarters in San Francisco, USA in 2022.
Ripple is betting big on Japan

In 2023, Ripple’s local unit SBI Ripple Asia significantly expanded its presence in cross-border and domestic remittances.
