Ripple Chairman Chris Larsen, along with other US business leaders, is reportedly supporting Democratic candidate Kamala Harris for president.
According to a new report from CNBC, Larsen is endorsing Harris over former President Donald Trump, along with 87 other current and former business leaders.
The CEOs reportedly prefer Harris because with her at the helm, “the business community can be confident it will have a president who wants America’s industries to prosper.”
The majority of the people who signed the letter were former CEOs of major companies, such as Paramount, Pepsi, Merck, Ford, GoDaddy, Starbucks and PayPal.
Others who signed the letter include the current CEOs of Yelp, Box, Snap and 21st Century Fox, as well as sports mogul Ted Leonsis, Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz and billionaire Mark Cuban.
As the group states in the letter:
“As President Biden’s partner, Vice President Harris has a strong track record of advancing action to stimulate business investment in the United States and ensure that American companies can compete and win in the global marketplace.
She will continue to promote fair and predictable policies that support the rule of law, stability and a healthy business environment, and she will strive to give every American the opportunity to pursue the American dream.”
