US President Donald Trump is optimistic that Stablecoins will help retain the US dollar as the most important currency in the world with dollar.
In a pre -recorded video for the participants in the Blockworks Digital Asset Summit in New York, Trump said that he encourages the creation of a legal framework for Stablecoins, coupled to the value of a stable active such as the US dollar.
“I have called on the congress to adopt historical legislation that creates simple, common sense rules for stablecoins and market structure. With the right legal framework, large and small institutions will be liberated to invest, innovate and participate in one of the most exciting technological revolutions in modern history.”
He says that Stablecoins will enable crypto pioneers to feed the financial growth of America and to strengthen the position of the US dollar as the most dominant global currency.
“You will unleash an explosion of economic growth and with the dollar-supported Stablecoins, you will help to expand the dominance of the US dollar in many, many years. It will be at the top and that is where we want to keep it. We only want to keep it at the top.”
Trump says that the financial revolution will take place in the US, which he hopes to make the world’s leading crypto -hub.
“I can already see that the energy and passion of the cryptoma community is the kind of spirit that our country has built and it is exciting to see the future of finances here. It will be here in the US, the good old US. Together we will make the undisputed Bitcoin -Superpower and the Cryptal of the World.”
