OKX Web3 product manager Kyle Chen stated that the independent wallet app of the platform is now available in Google Store. However, he later realized that he shared the news ‘too early’.
On March 24, Chen apologized to users after he had admitted that he had unveiled the news about the independent Wocket app ‘too early’. This is because the app is not yet available in some regions and devices. Moreover, he does not mention which regions have access to the app during this time, nor will he reveal when the app will be available to all users.
“It may not be available for users in some regions and devices. Be patience. My colleagues in the marketing department are going to scold me,” Chen wrote in a translated mail.
In a previous X post, Chen revealed to his followers that the Crypto Exchange has launched an independent app for his wallet. According to Chen’s message, users can download the application by searching for the Google Play Store.
“The bull will return quickly! Open the app market and look for OKX wallet to download the independent OKX wallet -app,” said Chen, adding that it is not yet available in Apple’s App Store.

In a separate message, Chen shared a screenshot of the interface of the platform and said that the app would contain a function “Token ai narrative summary”. The new function would enable users to view real -time market sentiments, including insights into long and short position and the latest online discourse from X. He also refers that “larger functions are on the road” for OKX wallet.
However, Chen said that these functions would not be exclusive to the app. For users who cannot download the application because it is not available in their regions, he explained that they have access to the Token AI -Decreasing summary via the website.

Earlier this month, OKX announced that it would temporarily suspend its decentralized Exchange Aggregator -Service in the light of an attempt at hack. The hack was suspected that he came from the Lazarus group in Noord -Korea. According to the notification, the platform would use the suspension as an opportunity to develop more security measures to prevent future attacks.
