The agreement was signed by Henry Chang, CEO of NEXUS, and Ronghui Gu, CEO of CertiK, starting a long-term partnership between the two companies. For NEXUS, which runs CROSS’s key features such as gaming services, a decentralized exchange, wallets and maker tools, this comes at an important time.
The company is preparing to launch stablecoin-powered payment systems to enable smooth and easy transactions within games and other services.
CertiK’s proven track record strengthens the NEXUS ambitions
CertiK is a household name in Web3 security for auditing smart contracts, detecting risks in real time, and continuously monitoring blockchain activity. The platform has reviewed more than 5,000 projects and helps protect approximately $600 billion in digital assets.
Well-known platforms such as Ethereum, Binance and Tether are also the well-known customers, and these big names show how important CertiK is within the industry.
According to the announcement, this partnership aligns with NEXUS’ goal to build strong security from day one. As the CROSS platform expands, using tools such as SDKs, APIs, wallets, and marketplaces, NEXUS needs solid protection so it can prevent security issues in the future. This is even more important for stablecoins, where secure payments and settlements are crucial.
Four pillars of collaboration
The MOU is set out based on these four main points:
- Security and smart contract audit: The security platform will audit NEXUS and CROSS and look at components such as payments, gaming and stablecoin contracts, to ensure there is scalable and transparent code.
- Risk monitoring in the chain: There will also be live monitoring of the blockchain and smart contracts, along with shared security insights, so users and systems can be protected before an issue arises.
- Compliance and Stablecoin Frameworks for Asia: There will also be appropriate regulatory controls and best practices for Asian-based stablecoins, to ensure they comply with global rules for gaming payments and cross-border transactions.
- Business Development and Expansion in Asia: There will be shared market plans, ecosystem growth and partner outreach. CertiK is also considering a strategic investment in NEXUS to strengthen the partnership in the long term.
This setup makes CROSS reliable enough for enterprises and makes it easier for developers and global partners to participate.
Boost for the growth of CROSS ecosystems
CROSS, supported by the NEXUS team of more than 100 blockchain and gaming experts, benefits greatly from this collaboration. With this partnership, it will improve payment security, build trust in the platform and ensure better compliance within the ecosystem. As Web3 gaming grows, these security measures become important and CROSS is in a strong position to expand.
Henry Chang, CEO of NEXUS, explained the importance of this partnership, stating: “Our collaboration with CertiK is a turning point for NEXUS. It allows us to ensure safety standards at a global level while accelerating the expansion of our business and infrastructure. We want to build systems that are not only innovative, but also resilient, transparent and ready for the next decade of growth.”
CertiK co-founder and CEO Ronghui Gu said: “As stablecoin and on-chain gaming continue to grow, the industry’s need for reliable security, clear governance and strong compliance has never been more important. Our partnership with NEXUS is an important step toward advancing security standards for Web3. We look forward to working closely with NEXUS to support the long-term growth and innovation of the ecosystem.”
