Metis, a Layer-2 scale solution, announced that Magic Square.io, a Web3 platform, joined his Hyperhack, a three-month hackathon that started on 15 Mayone2025.
Magic Square.io is a Discovery Engine and Web3 platform that discovers Dapps, Web3 services, tools and games.
The Hackathon, which was closed on August 16One2025, is intended to present the game-changing potential of Hyperion, the AI-advanced, well-performing blockchain from Metis.
The Hyperhack invites developers around the world to develop and test DAPPs that use the real-time multiprocessing of Hyperion, on-chain AI integration and high transaction speed.

Magic Square’s participation in Metis
Magic Square.io has joined participants who develop decentralized solutions on the Metis blockchain and stress tests.
The Hyperhack, which came after a recent roll -out of the Hyperion test network on 6 May 2025, marks a crucial moment in the Metis mission to send decentralized AI in web3.
Through structured phases, participants will interact with the Metis community, have access to innovative tools and the possibilities of Hyperion’s Infrastructure Test Hyperion, the way for the Mainstet implementation in August 2025.
The relocation of Magic Square shows that multiple Web3 projects continue to participate in the Hyperhack of Metis. The AI-driven infrastructure of Metis Blockchain is ready to be tested, and so the Hackathon invites developers to do their part.
Hyperhack is structured in three phases. In the first phase, participants use ideas where they share and strengthen project ideas through workshops and community feedback.
In the second phase, the participants develop daps and become thoroughly stress on the Hyperion test network. Projects that develop excellent DAPPs will be selected and subject to thorough public stress tests to assess the practical performance of their DAPPs.
The last (third) phase (7-16 August) marks the time when the Metis Foundation offers rewards to projects with the most resilient and innovative Dapps. Metis has assigned $ 200,000 for total prices. In addition to the rewards, winners will be provided with visibility of investors and incubation options.
Acceleration of the use of decentralized AI in web3
The Hyperhack is part of Metis’s broader initiative to bring decentralized AI opportunities within the reach of Web3 users and companies.
