The Pudgy Penguins NFT project debuts an animated YouTube series entitled “Lil Pudgyys” in the spring of 2025, produced in collaboration with Digital Content Studio Thesoul Publishing.

The series, announced on Tuesday, follows four Penguin characters – Atlas, Eureka, Snofia and Springer – Living in Underberg, a fictional iceberg world. Focused on children and families, the announcement shared with Bitcoin.com News says that Lil Pudgys will combine humor and adventure, whereby Pudgy Penguins is marked the first trip in the long form to a long animation.
Episodes are only premiered on the Pudgy Penguins YouTube channel, with two new episodes every week after a special debut episode. Currently, Pudgy Penguins’ existing footprint of social media includes 2 million Instagram followers, 500,000 taps followers and 41 billion Giphy views.
“Thesoul Publishing was the perfect partner to bring Pudgy Penguins to life,” said Pudgy Penguins CEO Luca Netz. The studio, known for viral series such as “5-minute crafts”, has a combined audience of more than 2 billion followers worldwide.
Patrik Wilkens, Thesoul’s VP from Business Development, called the partnership a “360-degree strategy” to use the popularity of the brand. The company produces content in 21 languages and operates channels in YouTube, Facebook and Tiktok.
Pudgy Penguins has already been expanded to physical products and generates $ 10 million in retail sales through partnerships with Walmart, Target and Walgreens. The animation project said that his goals are in accordance with his broader effort to switch Web3-Native IP to Mainstream Entertainment.
