Generative art NFT platform Art Blocks launched its latest curated collection today, with an auction for a new collection from Larva Labs, the makers of Cryptopunks, Autoglyphs and Meebits.
The collection, called Quine, contains 477 pieces that can be purchased publicly through an auction mechanism, with the lowest winning bid being the price paid by all bidders. The low bid stood at just 0.3 ETH, or $1,250, late last night, and serious participants flooded the auction during the closing hour, with the sale closing at 7.56 ETH, or $31,000 per Quine NFT, at noon EST on October 10.

Quine marks Larva Labs’ first 1/1/X release since Meebits, and the first non-avatar, unique generative art collection since Autoglyphs, which currently has a floor of 84 ETH ($344,000), with a standing bid of 60 WETH ($246,000).
Trading started about 20 minutes after the auction, with the first two sales being 8.9 ETH ($36,490) and 9.45 ETH ($38,750).
Ahead of the launch, Art Blocks founder Erick Snowfro shared his gratitude to Larva Labs on
