Blockchain -Development company Peersyst technology has announced That a test network version of an Ethereum-compatible sidechain for the XRP whides is now officially live.
The company says that the milestone has been completed in collaboration with Ripplex, the ripple development, Web3 Interoperability Platform Alexar Network and Blockchain Science Firm Common Prefix.
The first of its sort of sidechain wants to unlock the potential of decentralized financing on XRPL. It uses the wrinkle-linked XRP-Cryptocurrency as its native token.
The Devnet version of the Sidechain was originally launched in October 2022. A. new version was then rolled out in June 2023.
After the test network, Peersyst is now on schedule to announce new partners and validators in the coming days. “There is much more to be announced, but we take it step by step,” said the company.
Last September Schwartz said he wanted the XRPL EVM Sidechain to succeed. “I hope that the XRPL EVM Sidechain is extremely successful and competitive if a smart contract platform and another XRP eco system will be,” Schwartz said.
