According to data shared by blockchain analyzed company Arkham Intelligence, a wallet linked to the US government a total of 86,56794 ETH (approximately $ 219,000) transferred to the Coinbase Prime platform today.
The transfers took place in two separate transactions: one was only 0.00394 ETH worth (around $ 10), and the other was worth 86,564 ETH.
The source of these ETHS was identified as the wallet that belonged to Chase Senecal (AKA HZ), whose digital assets were seized by the State in October 2022.
Chase Senecal is known as a scammer, best known for his phishing attacks and NFT thefts, which he carried out on social media. With the help of the pseudonym “HZ”, Senecal has stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars in digital assets through attacks aimed at makers and collectors of famous NFT collections. As a result of a study conducted in 2022, the FBI Senecal’s Apple Watch, luxury watches and crypto assets grabbed.
After Donald Trump became the US president, a practice was initiated that the US government would not sell cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin. It is not clear whether the transfer in question was a sale or not.
