Donald Trump pushes back against claims that he benefits from the Trump Memecoin, his official cryptocurrency who was launched days before his presidential inauguration.
Chainalysis recently reported that the Trump -token $ 900,000 in reimbursements earned in a two -day wingspan for its backers.
The portfolios of the biggest holders of the token are driven by CIC Digital LLC, an entity that is also used for its NFT collection, and Fight Fight Fight LLC, co-ownership of CIC Digital. Together they own 80% of the Trump tokens.
“I don’t benefit from anything,” Trump said during an interview with NBC News, adding that he had not looked at the performance of the token and that financial benefits would be incidental. “If I own somewhere, and I do it well, and the stock market goes up, I think I will benefit,” he said.
The Trump -Token has seen a strong market activity in recent weeks. It is currently being traded around $ 11.20, a significant decrease of its highest peak of $ 44.19, but still 20% rose in the past month.
The White House recently announced that the largest 220 holders of the $ Trump would be invited to dinner with the president.
