Popular toy and collectibles manufacturer Funko has been relatively quiet about its plans for new WAX NFT drops. Previously, the community enjoyed releases of new Funko NFT collections on average every two weeks. However, after launching a series of digital assets featuring Powerpuff Girls’ aesthetic images on November 14, Funko took a slightly longer break than usual before announcing its upcoming WAX NFT drops.
Finally, the company shared the details about the new collection with the community. On December 12, the company will begin releasing an NFT Funko Pop Disney collection dedicated to Mickey and friends.

“Purchase packs by lining up for any spot in line a few minutes before the sale starts on December 12, 2023 at 11am PT,” Funko invites collectors to participate in the drop traditionally hosted on the Droppp.io Marketplace. Initial pricing for NFT packs is $9.99 for a Standard Pack of five items and $29.99 for a Premium Pack of 15 items. There will be 21,250 packages of each type for sale.
The NFT Disney Funko Pops represent animated images of favorite characters from the beloved Mickey Mouse cartoons, including Goofy, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, Pluto, Pete and of course Minnie Mouse.
As with previous Funko WAX NFT drops, collecting digital assets gives you the chance to claim a unique physical figurine.
“Limited edition Funko physical collectibles designed exclusively for Disney’s Mickey and Friends: Funko Digital Pop! Series 1 release,” says Funko, explaining that “Collecting a Grail, Legendary, or Royalty set qualifies you for a Redemption Token to redeem its physical counterpart.”
Funko has already unveiled a range of physical collectibles on the Droppp platform. However, it reserves the right to provide collectors with products that may differ from those shown on Droppp.io at the time of publication.
If there are no changes to Funko’s plans regarding the physical collection that will be exchanged for a Redemption Token, the most common type of figurine will be the Royalty Mickey Mouse. So far, Funko plans to deliver 2,500 figurines of this type.

Pete statues are classified as Legendary, with 1,800 items to collect. Likewise, a statue of Goofy is also slated to be legendary, with 1,800 available to claim. In addition, both Donald Duck and Daisy Duck are planned to be offered as legendary.
Meanwhile, only 999 Minnie Mouse Grail figurines will be available.
In total, Funko has prepared six types of physical collectibles.
