Marlin offers two options for the implementation of the calculation: Oyster CVM and Oyster Serveress. Oyster CVM offers exclusive, private VMs that can be rented at any length, such as classic cloud services. In the meantime, Oyster Serveress developers enables calculation tasks to a set of always online nodes, invoiced for implementation time. Both options offer uptime guarantees and monitoring functions.
The protocol makes safe network calls and passing on on-chain contracts possible, so that it can be integrated into web2 and web3 environments. In addition, Marlin offers tools such as NIX-based reproducible build, key management service, Docker support and remote-based TLS.
