Power Slap and VeChain have announced a long-term partnership to bring live weak championships to a global audience via YouTube. Dana WhiteCEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and founder of Power Slap, together with Sunny luCo-founder and CEO of VeChain, unveiled the new deal in a press release, White and LU also share the news on the X platform.
As part of the partnership, VeChain, the official blockchain partner of the UFC since 2022, becomes the official sponsor and title partner of Power Slap Events. The cryptocurrency company will also serve as the official cryptocurrency of the Slap Championship. The first event under this partnership, “VeChain Power Slap 12: Quinones vs. Bordeaux 2”, is planned on March 7, 2025 in Fontainebleau, Las Vegas. The event debuts on the YouTube channel of Power Slap and offers a free live stream to a global audience.
The integration of VeChain will extend to all temporary and live contents on YouTube. The blockchain platform will also be on display on official athlete kits and all marketing material, including event posters and promotional backgrounds. VeChain and Power limp are planning to further expand the partnership and add integrations aimed at the UFC and UFC Foundation.
