Crypto billionaire and actor Brock Pierce says a Bitcoin (BTC) bull run is likely underway – a bull run that could reach new all-time highs.
In a new interview At CNBC, Pierce says that every time the top digital asset by market cap has a real bull run, it “blows the top off” and sets a record in terms of price.
“If you look at the historical cycles, you know when we finally get into one of these real bull runs and it looks like Christmas came early…
I think it’s next [bull run], and every time we get into one of those bull runs we find record highs and when it happens most of the time it blows the roof off. So is $150,000 where we’ll end up?
I have no idea, but is it possible? Certainly. And it is also possible that we will fall again if we encounter another such terrible event.”
Pierce, co-founder of Tether, the largest crypto company, goes on to say that US regulators have prevented many US investors from accumulating wealth over the past decade by consistently rejecting spot-traded BTC ETFs (ETFs). .
He says an ETF approval is long overdue and adds to the current excitement around Bitcoin.
‘It has been tried for ten years. If an ETF had been made available to the American people when Bitcoin was worth $100 or $200, how much wealth would have been created for the American people?
In this case, the regulators prevented the American people from benefiting from this incredible period of wealth creation, which ended up largely in the hands of the internationals.”
