Chromia has officially launched Filehub, its decentralized storage solution, on the platform’s mainnet. This new service provides users with a secure and scalable way to store and access digital files. The news was shared on Chromia’s official X account. The deployment of Filehub marks a significant advancement for the blockchain platform, which is known for its modular framework and ability to support dedicated decentralized applications (dApps).

Filehub offers secure, decentralized storage with a 30-year warranty
Filehub uses the Chromia blockchain to provide a secure way to store and access files and metadata, with a special emphasis on horizontal scaling. The Filehub Blockchain records file details and processes references to data, and the Filechain Blockchains store data in different nodes and verify payments through proofs. Filehub has already been used by Fanzeal to store images and metadata of collectibles, such as those on the VfB Stuttgart market.
