The maker of the Smart Contract Platform Cardano (ADA) says that Crypto assets will benefit from the tariff war of Donald Trump.
In a new interview on CNBC Squawk Box, crypto-veteran Charles Hoskinson says that Trump’s trade war will eventually lead to a huge price tag with six digits for Bitcoin (BTC).
According to Hoskinson, Trump’s rates will economically deglobalize and people push people to digital assets as a means of globalization.
“What ultimately happens are crypto benefits in the long term. Geopolitan, what happens is that we go from a rules-based international order to a competence conflict. We have spent our entire adult life under a rules-based international order, but our parents and grandparents, they lived under a conflict with great powers.
It was the United States and the Soviet Union that went on it, so it didn’t matter what the trade agreement was, it didn’t matter what the rule law was. If the Soviet Union wanted to do something or the US wanted to do something, they just do it and now we go back to the conflict of big forces.
If Russia wants to invade Ukraine, Ukraine invades. If China wants to invade Taiwan, this will do that. Treaties don’t really work so well and worldwide company doesn’t really work that well there, so your only option for globalization is crypto. ”
He also notes that he believes that the crypto king will reach a stunning price tag of $ 250,000 by the end of this year or early next year, driven by the economic struggle between the US and China.
“I think Bitcoin will be more than 250,000 towards the end of this year or next year. What will that float [is] That the tariff stuff will be a guy and then people will realize that the world is willing to negotiate and it is really only we versus China. Many people will be the side of [the] Vs, some people tilt with China, [but] The markets will stabilize a bit and they will get used to the new normal. ”
Bitcoin acts for $ 81,275 at the time of writing, a profit of 5.5% during the last 24 hours.
