Crypto Gaming and Investment Company Animoca Brands now has a financial interest in Cool Cats, which 2D Pastel Cat PFP collection from the NFT -BOEM 2021 that most of you probably forgot a few years ago.
Coole cats, considered by some as a “Blue Chip” NFT collection at some point, will now be part of the Mocaverse. The Mocaverse is the ambitious vision of Animoca to give everyone their own crypto-driven identity and to bind them to games and other experiences.

The investment of Animoca (of an unknown amount) means that Animoca and Coin Operated Group now have a majority stake in Cool Cats Group. Cool Cats Community member Ken Cron is the chairman and CEO of Coin Operated Group.
“We share a vision for a future in which web3 feeds creativity and community,” Cron said in a statement.
The total trade of the NFT collection has risen around 400% in the past week, according to data from NFTpricefloor. It also saw an expected price price in the day after the announcement.
But that is still just a blip in the big schedule of things:

If I am honest, the news is not that surprising, given that Animoca and the cool cats previously worked together in 2022.
In a statement, Animoca Executive Chair and co -founder Yat Siu has framed the move as a way to connect the Cool Cats’ community with the MOCA network.
“Cats have always been the sweethearts of the internet, and Cool Cats is one of the most recognized digital brands that are available, perfectly illustrating the global attraction of digital fats,” Siu said in a press release.
SIU and MOCA Network Project Lead Tyler Durden are also members of the Cool Cats Board.
If you ask me a self-proclaimed crazy catwoman-like I claim that the cool cats do not lean almost enough in their feline inspiration.
Yes, there was Cooltopia, a basic web game with a milk smoking years ago. But otherwise the cats could really benefit from a Pudgy Penguins-like social media brand that Blitz builds to restore itself as a cute, relevant and actually about cats (their Instagram has not posted a reel since February).
