Boundless, the zero-knowledge (ZK) Compute Marketplace incubated by Risc Zero, has officially launched its mainnet on the base, giving each blockchain access to verifiable calculation.
The milestone builds on the stimulated test network of the network, which went live in July and stress-testing boundless architecture under Real-World conditions.
During that beta phase, Boundless operated as a decentralized market where developers who seek ZK certificates for applications such as rollups, bridges and privacy protocols can connect with independent games, or ZK miners who generated those evidence.
The launch introduced proof of verifiable work, an incentive mechanism that rewards games on the basis of the volume, speed and complexity of their calculations. The participation of the community was strong, partly fed by the expectation of $ ZKC tucks.
With the Mainstet launch of Monday, those options are now operational on a scale. The team behind Boundless says that it can deliver verifiable calculations on chains, allowing developers to build applications that retain privacy and seamless scales between ecosystems.
Some important protocols have started integrating boundless in their systems. Wormhole integrates Boundless to add ZK verification to Ethereum consensus, making cross-chain transfers safer.
Bob, a hybrid Bitcoin -Roll -Up, ticks boundaries to enable EVM applications to work with Bitcoin with evidence that inherits Bitcoin’s security while they draw on the liquidity of Ethereum. And setting up protocol -Lido is boundless commitment to secure validator outputs with transparent evidence, strengthening trust and auditability for his crypto assets.
“For the first time, developers in every chain have access to abundant zero knowledge comput to build complex applications that sacrifice scales about ecosystems without decentralization,” said Shiv Shankar, the CEO of Boundless.
