The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) non-fungible token (NFT) collection rose to the forefront of the market with a total of US$919,152 in daily sales on Wednesday.
BAYC ended DMarket’s nearly weeklong streak of industry-leading daily NFT sales, data from CryptoSlam shows.
BAYC is the world’s second largest collection in terms of NFT sales of all time, with approximately $3.18 billion. It is second only to Axie Infinity’s $4.27 billion.
The Mythos blockchain’s DMarket was pushed to second place on Wednesday, despite a small increase in revenue from $685,764 to $698,815.
Solana’s DeGods claimed the third spot in the daily rankings with sales of US$651,574.
Guild of Guardians Heroes on Immutable dropped to fourth from second for two consecutive days to open the week. It recorded US$532,034 in daily sales.
Mad Lads on Solana came in fifth with US$430,919.
Ethereum blockchain, where BAYC is located, led all blockchains with $4.74 million, a notable increase from the previous day’s $3.28 million.
Solana came in second with $2.8 million, up from $1.67 million the day before.
Meanwhile, Mythos Chain is closing in on the $500 million milestone, now just shy of $6 million away.
Mythos was fifth in the blockchain sales rankings on Wednesday with almost $700,000.
