BNB Chain, the blockchain network originally developed by Binance, has announced a new AI agent solution. The platform will streamline the creation and deployment of decentralized AI agents.
This new platform allows developers of all skill levels to easily create and launch their own autonomous agents.
BNB Chain’s comprehensive AI agent platform
The initiative provides developers with tools and resources to build and scale AI agents for practical applications in Web3.
At its heart is a collection of customizable Agent Kits, featuring four core AI agents: Eliza, ShellAgent, TermiX, and Revox.ai.
“Whether you’re a seasoned developer or just starting out, we make it easy to build, scale, and monetize decentralized AI agents,” wrote BNB on X (formerly Twitter).
Eliza was developed with contributions from NodeReal. This AI agent supports several major language models (LLMs), including OpenAI, Claude, and Llama.
Then there’s ShellAgent, a modular framework that supports creating AI agents through a classic no-code model. This framework is ideal for beginners.
There is also TermiX, which allows development with a drag-and-drop interface, and Revox.ai, with native Web3 integration.
BNB Chain has also introduced four launchpad options to further support AI agent development.
In addition, the platform organizes an AI Agents Competition to encourage innovation. Winning projects will be eligible for $10,000 in BNB token airdrops.
AI trend gains momentum in Web3
AI agents have emerged as a leading trend in the Web3 and crypto industries over the past year. Tokens linked to AI agent technologies now have a market capitalization of over $14 billion. This is remarkable growth for a sector that was virtually non-existent a year ago.
OKX Ventures recently identified AI agents as a key area of focus for 2025. Nvidia’s CEO has also predicted that AI agents could grow into a multi-trillion dollar industry in the near future.
Separate reports today indicated that former US President Donald Trump may soon announce $500 billion in funding for Stargate, a new joint AI research project.
This initiative reportedly includes contributions from OpenAI, SoftBank, and Oracle.
While no official announcement has been made yet, questions remain about how much of the funding will come from federal sources versus Stargate’s participating companies.
BNB Chain’s AI agent solution reflects the accelerating progress in AI agents and blockchain. It responds to the growing interest from developers, investors and governments around the world.
