21st of December: Bitfinex Securities Ltd, which provides listing and trading services for security tokens, has announced the successful raise of 5.2 million USDT in a tokenized bond offering, according to the team: “The tokenized security offering is the result of the collaboration with microfinance company Mikro Kapital that manages a securitization fund called Alternative. The tokenized bond, denominated in USDT, uses the ticker ALT2612 and has a term of 36 months with a coupon of 10%.’

21st of December: WalletConnect has announced an “ambitious new roadmap to build an open, permissionless, and decentralized network that will both improve the performance of the WalletConnect Protocol and achieve functionality that better aligns with Web3’s principles,” the team said. “Milestones on the roadmap will be tested, monitored and implemented over the coming year, culminating with a proposed formal launch of an open, permissionless WalletConnect network in 2025.”
